It's not OK

It's not OK

It's not OK to be hit by a wall of silence when you share with somebody you are struggling

If this has happened to you, I'm sorry.

It's not OK to hit by wall of silence when sharing with somebody that you are struggling.

There may be times when your hit by wall of silence when sharing with a person how it is you’re feeling. This can be for a number of reasons and can include, the person:
  • doesn't know how to respond

  • doesn't have the capacity to take on what it is you’ve shared

  • may be afraid of saying the wrong thing and making matters worse.

  • doesn't have time to stop and chat.

  • may not know how desperate you really are.

Whatever the reason, and I’m sure there will be hundreds more, you matter.

"You are valued, and it is NOT OK for you to suffer in silence."
